Stop attacks before they reach your servers.
Network Overwatch works like a security checkpoint in front of your servers. Every visitor and every request is checked first. Attackers are turned away at the door, and everyone else gets through without noticing.
A checkpoint that never takes a break.
Everything that comes in from the internet is inspected before your own server has to deal with it.
Every request checked
Each visit to your site, app or API is inspected before your server sees it. Anything that looks like an attack is stopped on the spot.
Bad bots turned away
Password-guessing bots, scrapers and scanners are recognised by the way they behave, and blocked without you lifting a finger.
Traffic floods absorbed
If someone tries to knock your site offline with millions of fake visits, the flood hits our network instead of your server.
Attackers remembered
When an address attacks one of your sites, it is blocked on all of them within seconds, and on Server Shield too.
No noticeable delay
Checks take a few thousandths of a second, so your real visitors won't notice anything at all.
Every attempt visible
A live view shows who tried what, where they came from and what happened to them, in plain words.
A checkpoint between the internet and your server.
You point your domain at BurstLayer, or install our small agent on the server. From then on, every request passes a checkpoint that asks one question: is this a real visitor, or someone trying to break in?
- Works with any website, app or API
- Set up with one DNS change or one agent
- Your server's real address stays hidden from attackers
Watch attacks bounce off, live.
Every blocked request appears in your dashboard with a short explanation: what the attacker tried, where they came from and why we stopped them.
- Filter by site, country or type of attack
- Let a visitor through with one click if we got it wrong
- A short daily summary by email

Running in three steps.
- 01
Send your traffic through us
Change one DNS setting, or install the agent if you would rather keep your DNS where it is.
- 02
We learn what normal looks like
Known attacks are blocked from the first minute. Over the first day we learn how your real visitors behave.
- 03
Attacks are stopped at the door
Anything that doesn't fit is blocked, challenged or flagged, depending on the rules you choose.
What it stops before it reaches you.
Password guessing
Bots trying thousands of usernames and passwords on your login page, one after another.
Website break-ins
Requests written to trick your app into revealing data, known as SQL injection or cross-site scripting.
Traffic floods
Huge waves of fake visits meant to knock your site offline, also called DDoS attacks.
Weak-spot scanners
Automated tools crawling your site for old software and forgotten admin pages.
Content scraping
Bots copying your prices, articles or customer listings in bulk.
Fake sign-ups
Scripts creating fake accounts to spam your users or abuse free trials.

Trouble is cheapest to stop before it travels.
Bad traffic is filtered close to where it starts, long before it can use up your server's time or your bandwidth.
Questions, answered.
What people usually ask before they turn on Network Overwatch.
Do I have to move my website?+
No. Your site stays exactly where it is. You either change one DNS record so traffic flows through BurstLayer first, or install our agent on the server itself.
Will it slow my site down?+
Checks take a few thousandths of a second. Visitors will not notice them.
What if a real customer gets blocked?+
You can see every blocked request and let it through with one click. You can also start in watch-only mode, where suspicious traffic is flagged but not blocked, until you are comfortable.
Does it work for APIs and mobile apps?+
Yes. Anything that talks to your server over the web can pass through Network Overwatch, including the API behind a mobile app.
What happens if BurstLayer has a problem?+
If our checkpoint cannot be reached, traffic goes straight to your server as it did before, so your site stays online.
